[COLOR="Indigo"]The issue with Vista is you've got about a 50/50 chance that your computer will work just fine. Service Pack 1 has helped deal with some issues, but there still are some bugs.
My family just got a new computer, with Vista, and I've yet to hear my brother complain of any problems.
Common Vista+MS issues include: low FPS, random disconnections (particularly at Zakum), and overall lag. If you DO have any problems, come check here for others who experienced the troubles you're experiencing.
Also: when you get your new computer, update the graphics driver right away =p
