I've done cpq many times on my new archer and I have face that problem too. It's an ms glitch it has nothing to do with your comp. But if you want to know I was playing in full screen mode and using my windows xp computer 
It's an in-game glitch nothing to do with your comp. It was pretty cool though xD Referring to potion glitch.. I never dced from it though.
