Shrimp
Start with 1qt boiling water. Add Red/Black peppercorns, lemon, a little bit of various spices, and some paprika (for a little extra color).
Add uncooked shrimp (should be a grey color) (appx 25-50 work for this, enough to where the pot is full of shrimp), slowly stir and allow to boil. Shouldn't take more than 3-5minutes, but if the shrimp aren't pink, you're wrong.
For the corn, simply re-use the water from the shrimp boiling to boil the corn (note, I screwed up and left too many peppercorns, so my corn =/= edible. I didn't have a fine enough sifter to get rid of it but keep the corn. The corn itself is delicious, I just have to eat it 1 kernel at a time, or with a fork...
The sauce is simply shrimp sauce/cocktail sauce. Easy peasy, but if you want to make it from scratch,
Ketchup
Horseradish
Lemon
TINY bit of honey
Worcestershire sauce
TINY bit of hot sauce
