I just looked at the skill table for Vampire and pomegranate myself. 30% damage maxed, hits 4 times?! That's just asking for an SE mule to come provide sheer godliness.
Level 1 Vampire with maxed crit is almost 3 times as strong with SE than without (274%). By level 45 with decent equips that should easily be doing something like ~1800 max crits ON EACH MONSTER 4 TIMES. The noncrits will only be hitting 2 digit numbers, but who cares? 65% chance. 4 times a number that's already pretty damn high for single hitting mob skills like Slash Blast at that level. Max mastery afterward for even more godliness. Definitely the way to go if you have access to SE.
