To sum up, as I understand it, there are two engines pulling this train to hell: monopolization and excessive amounts of mesos being circulated.
iCollect group of people set the fire of monopoly, ignorant merchants add in the oil with a hope to make more profits for themselves, inadvertently worsening the situation, damaging their own budget as well as everyone else's with a loop of inflation. Eventually meso's value will reach very close to zero, or at least this is where this train is headed.
Meso farmers/hackers/sellers injected the massive amounts of mesos into the economy (with an estimated rate of 2.174b every 10 mins) in order to.. well, make real money.
Whether or not there will be a limit to this, I do not know. If there's a deadline to haul as much money as possible before they all get put into jail, I presume they will not give a damn to Maple economy. If, however, they can take their time and optimize the situation for their gain, I hope they know what they're doing and not bring the economy down in a week.
So if you need someone to vent your anger/grief/hatred on, find the meso sellers. If you want to put a stop to this, find the meso sellers. If those 2 options are too close to impossibility, well, what I'm doing is buy things I can afford and put them in the freezer and wait for Nexon to actualize a thorough solution: Shut down the damned meso sellers.
Futile effort, you say, but at least it puts me to sleep at night.
tl;dr: iCollect's people started the inflation using the opportunity that mesos are being sold dirt cheap which strengthens the customer's buying ability. Everyone trying to make a profit is actually harming themselves in a foreseeable future. My solution? Freeze the market. (though it's almost implausible and unrewarding, it might give us some time to bug Nexon enough till they do something about it)
