What's causing all the inflation?

We'll argue semantics then, eh? Always a good way to keep entertained.

 Some mediocre counterpoints that probably still won't convey what I mean

I'm trying to keep this in terms of Maple. Natural in a sense that the value of the meso decreases or increases due to a change in the game made by Nexon, such as new content, population changes, etc. Since Nexon is essentially in a God position for Maple, I'm tempted to say anything they do that alters the value of a meso is natural. Be it meso bags, taxes, new pots, new monsters, etc.
Artificial in a sense that inflation was caused by intentional actions within the player base or through ToS violating actions that shouldn't exist in an ideal, ToS-abiding world.

 A more concise idea, less likely to lead to pointless and non-constructive arguments on meanings and usages of the terms in question

Perhaps Intentional vs. Unintentional is a better set of terms to use.

 And before you get on me about any action by Nexon being classified as intentional

Yes, obviously Nexon's actions to change the value of the meso are "intentional" as the definition of the word goes. The difference is that player's intentions generally lean toward a meso profit, and Nexon's intentions generally lean toward keeping their game's economy stable enough as a whole to avoid the destruction of the game. It can generally be assumed that Nexon's intentions is economic fiddling are either good for the game or the company (Meso sinks like Maker crystal grading and Donation King medals being good for the game, things like Gach boxes being good for the company, even if they totally pineapple up a few items).

I love you. I could write an essay for you on that second point about intentional vs unintentional, but will refrain from doing so. I will also refrain from arguing on semantics to avoid going off on a tangent. But I still love you!
