Flares (or Bellbottoms) for guys

I've always wondered about this, but do a lot of us guys wear bellbottoms or flares? I recently bought a black-flare pants, and it looks alright, but I wonder if it would look awkward to other people for a guy to wear flare-pants. Before you ask, no, I've never worn bellbottom pants. I've worn mostly cargos and baggy jeans, etc.

Bet you'd look hot in them.
