JezzaRules Wrote:Oh with the post, anime I tend to dislike?I consider "anime you dislike, yet most people seem to like" to be different than "anime you dislike". I know a lot of people that have disliked Kanokon, Rosario to Vampire, Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan, and Moetan, so it's one of those "since the majority of people dislike it, it shouldn't be included here" sort of things.
Saying "anime you tend to dislike" is basically saying which genres you dislike. Not what I'm asking for, but it doesn't hurt to hear.
I'm aiming to see people listing shows like Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu, AIR, Azumanga Daioh, Minami-ke, TTGL, and Elfen Lied, since a lot of people liked them and I find it interesting to see people who don't get swept in by the crowds. Or something. I'm just a little sad about this because I'm seeing a lot of the more popular shows and not any of the lesser known shows like ARIA, Sketchbook ~full color's~, Kamichu!, Hidamari Sketch, oshtimlisteningsliceoflifeuhm, Busou Renkin, Sumomomomomomomomomomomo, y'know? Man, I think Seto no Hanayome and Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei aren't widely known, either....
ANYWAY, am I making any sense? I'm a little fuzzy today. And acev is somewhat right in how the genre of the show does play a part. Comedy is just thee biggest iffy, at least in my mind.
And to answer your other question, it really depends on the show for me. I loved Cardcaptor Sakura enough that I'm willing to re-watch it in its entirety in Japanese, but I can't say I'd say the same for something like Futari wa Purikyua, which should say something because I'm a fan of mahou shoujo. Maybe because Tamura Yukari wasn't in it, but then again, Yukana was and Tanaka Rie came in the second season....
But yeah, I'm just not interested in watching on-going things like Bleach, Naruto, and One Piece when there are other shows I can watch that actually have an ending I can complain about.

you Heattless peach!(not really)
If they animate planetarian, I'll probably cry or get pretty damn close to.
