People who think World Tour is useless are forgetting Himes, Anego, and all the great scroll quests in Showa. 
Warriors (cept DKs who can go to Typhons) would have a really hard time getting to 120 without Himes... Not to mention, priests would have literally nowhere to train from 80-105-ish, from when MP3 gets slow until they can leech at Newts/Skeles from 4th jobbers, since all the people they could party with have run off to solo spots in Masteria at those levels. =P
