Makes me think the monster book works something like that:
Column A: Monster ID, Column B: # Cards
a, 1
b, 1
c, 4
...
And when you add in the Time Temple mobs, their IDs go between existing ones and screw with it, since for some reason it's not expecting those IDs I guess..
