RajPwN Wrote:How does a lv 75 Outlaw outdamage a lv 80 Hermit? A lv 80 Hermit can easily hit 5k x 2 with lucky seven, and another 5k (2.5+2.5 with SP). That's 15k damage compared to 3.3 + 3.7 + 3.4 at lv 77. :f6:
No offense to Outlaws at all. I honestly don't know much about Gunslingers. I'm probably wrong when I think they seem kinda weak at 3rd job so sorry if it's offensive in any way. Enlighten me? Goggleemoticon
well outlaws get an insane power boost when they get to level 77 (assuming they maxed burst at that level). we're talking about 160% double shot to 630% burst fire here. +470% on one monster.

i'm pretty sure the hermit wasn't very well equipped. at level 75, i could barely do at max 8k's with pretty good equipment with only lvl 14 burst fire. at 77 i could break a little more than 11k with a warrior elixir when maxed. after you max burst fire your damage doesn't go up very fast, lol. at 82 the most i can theoretically do is somewhere around 12k with the same equipment and elixir. i only went up less than 1k in maximum damage in 5 levels.

the thing that sets hermits and outlaws apart is outlaws do around the same damage constantly. hermits have a range of like +/- 3000 damage from lowest no crit to highest with crit and sp put in assuming they do 5k's. with my outlaw right now the average damage per burst fire is ~9.3k, minimum is ~6.7k and max is ~12.1k on 0 defense monster (1061 - 1924 is my range with elixir). i don't know where the hermit's average damage is, but his theoretical minimum is probably a lot lower and his theoretical max is probably higher, but i doubt it's much higher.
