I meant Assassination* sorry. I can't tell from Shadower videos whether it can be activated in mid-air or not, since finishing attacks are almost always jumped with a forward momentum to reach another mob (pack) faster, usually with the start of the attack near the ground.
Yes, Double Stab was still somewhat useful in 2nd job. It could be used as a finisher when the enemies HP is low enough, saving a small amount of time which SB would waste. It also has a 140% damage multiplier - slightly useful for mobs that can't be KB'd with SB's 80% multiplier. I also used it against Water Goblins (?) in Zipangu, comboing it with a weak-leveled assaulter since I couldn't kill them in one SB, to move to the next (faraway) mob. (DS was jumped w/ forward momentum.)
I'll just drop Double Stab from my configuration then - there are probably even more limited usages of DS in 4th job.
The reason I had Disorder as a CB was because of it's awesome un-aggroing effect. It could also be used to keep bosses attention on my CB as opposed to the boss running rampant on my ranged party members. (Effectively acting as a decoy.) It can also un-aggro unwanted attention. For these reasons, is it worth keeping Disorder on my configuration?
Pickpocket is evolving into more of a show-off skill - it's only great when all the enemies are lured to the same mass of coins. And even then, it deals mediocre damage due to the enemies position and how far apart the coins are from each other. Although, with the right conditions, it is still somewhat damaging... The coins can also hit below your current platform if you're fighting flying enemies (Typhons), effectively luring them. (There's no other move has a definite downward hitbox) It also mobs at a bigger range, although Boomerang Step pretty much has more or less the same range. BS has delay, so ME'd PP coins can be used if there's leftovers. Should I keep PP on my config or is it a complete hindrance (to buff) as a Shadower?
