There are also a few business motives behind this.
The original place where skills get developed has a very different setting to GMS. A fast(0) NL is very different to a fast(2) NL. What considered "balanced" there isnt the case in GMS due to the settings. So to fill NL's ego, they need to stay on apples. Apples require you to be married (or others to be married to sell apples).
