DPS of Buchaneer vs. Night Lord

So I am wondering, for the buc class vs. the NL class, which class has better DPS? I heard that buchs have been pretty solid at bosses.

Also,. is it preferable to go "statless" with the the buch class? Or does the dmg not vary as much compared to full stat as compared to their NL counterpart (dexless)?
