Just a note, a friend of mine trained at Elderwraiths on and off at about 90-110 as a hermit. She liked it because it was like Himes, but better money because of farming/selling the etcs, and no KSing.
I could see it working for a corsair, too, it just might be a little past the level range of the area... I can see Recoil/FJ being used in much the same way there.
Though, having lured away the Elders for friends who were killing BF there, I feel the spawn isn't enough to support a priest lurer, really. Not anything like Himes.
Their touch damage is a lot higher, ruining the ability to take hits without HB, ruining the ability to turn of Magic Guard, which is so essential to not hemorhhaging mesos at Himes. (I still have only ~1600 HP at level 124, and with my decent HP equips only about 2k. Using MG at Himes in my 8x, I used nearly as many pots as my 16x I/L friend who was training me, who was using Blizz a LOT... because of my much-lower MP.)
Also, IIRC Elders were harder to hit at a low level... Kept missing into my 8x, after I could 100% hit Himes.
