Also I'm not judging you on how you spend your money - that's entirely up to you. However, I don't see much point in spending money on what you can pretty much get for free anyway.
Please leave your opinion and he can decide what to do, it's his decision to accept your opinion or not, what ever he chooses, don't force it on him. Suggest something and leave it at that.
Personally, I'd say, hair face, hair color, lens, clothes, pet and then... then, gachapon?
