The effects of Maker on the economy

The vast majority of REMADE magicians are LUKless. If someone's first char was a mage, chances are they're Low LUK or Reg LUK. Very rarely do you see someone that just started Maplestory as a mage going LUKless right off the bat, and by the time they find the forums that teach them how to work their chars, they're already too far into their LUK build (and this is based on a few months experience helping out on SW's mage forum). Most likely, the shoe market will be a relatively lucrative venture, since the magician economy is lucrative in general. An 8 to 9 stat shoe is 5 extra stats, which pushes much more parity between LUK and LUKless, albeit in a minor way.

Minor meaning inconsequential?

I dont think mage shoes will sell well. 120+ mages will be at Newts and Skeles and with the rate at which they kill, Wisdom Crystal, Luk Crystal and monster etc will be virtually in abundance. Add to that, Mage's hands will be one off the highest around so the option of using stimulators to create your own shoes and add more stats with a lower rate of failure is also there. Also as said before a large percent of the mage population is luckless so thats a lot of market gone there too. Your market would then be mainly pre 4th job mages and lazy 4th jobbers. Will pre 4th jobbers care about +5 stat (+10 if you count int/luk) shoes, taking into consideration Int's effect on damage is even less noticble at those levels? Will you be able to sell the shoes at a price that reflects this, considering the time and money you would have spent grading crystals and creating the shoes?

Of course this is all conjecture and I could be totally wrong. The maple population is extremely fickle.
