Also I agree that your hat looks more like luffy's. Though I don't watch the anime(should, but havent gotten around really). I read the manga as soon as I can find scanlations weekly as they are released.
You could always go to the extreme, making an INT character from the very beginning, getting to 100 base INT or so, then washing it out after 12x or so.
