I'd say all we can do right now is speculate and that's it. I dont know how other servers function, but while there is some "natural" inflation, much of the inflation that goes on these days is "artificial" and done by one person or a specific group of people.
It takes only two people with a few bill each to inflate the whole market: Dude A buys out all diamonds up to 10 mill, dude B, who wants to make stuff and doesnt care and buys diamonds at 11 mill or whatever the cost is.
It doesnt matter if diamonds inflated to 3 mill in MSEA or if sapphires inflated to 5 mill in JMS, as it'll all be irrelevant when those multi-billionares out there decide to mass forge or mass inflate them. To many of us, a few hundred mill is a lot, but to some merchanters out there, that's just pocket change.
With that in mind, while all of you out there are hoaring your jewels and things, you have to understand that everyone else is hoarding them too. The <best> things to hoarde will probably be things people havent thought of yet, or things that require more "outside the box" thinking. Yes, your diamonds will inflate, but perhaps there are things out there that will inflate more with less effort. That's where people should be thinking of investing.
