Politics doesnt even exist anymore. People watch MTV / DailyShow more than they watch ACTUAL news. They make assumptions and decisions on heavily biased news broadcasts. They dont even take the time to read up on a candidate. They just go "ha ha Bill cheated" or "Bush is a horrible president"
"Bush is a horrible president"....you know everytime I hear this I ask the person why he is horrible. The only two rebuttles I hear are the Iraq War and Katrina. Seriously, our country got fucking attacked. The worst in our country's history. And thats what kicked off his presidency. Not to mention the majority of this country's citizens go with whatever is popular. Apparently hating Bush is popular. And, in this heavily intellegence deprived generation, everyone thinks "oMg, we totally shuldnt be in Iraq!" There are people so against the war, they protest at the funeral of fallen soldiers....how fucking disrespectful is that? A man or woman gave his or her life fighting to bring democracy to a country, and you show up and practically spit on the family?
If Obama is elected President, he will most likely be elected for the wrong reasons.
You got Star Jones going on tv and saying she will vote for him just because "I want to show my kids that black people can do anything and become anything they want"
Now, I in no way think that Star Jones is the black authority of America. But you cant seriously sit there and say that no black people will vote for Obama just because he's black.
This isnt a policy or diplomacy election...its a race election
