Let me tell you from personal experience.
What happens once you finish protecting tylus, when theres about 20 seconds left of the pq you'll get a notice telling you to exit. If you do, you get some item.
To get stance, you have to turn this item in by clicking on your 3rd job advance guy. You can simply DROP the item and then talk to your 3rd job guy again and he'll let you in again.
