Dodge as in not get hit at all, not just take a miss.
Edit: Like when I was fighting Luster Pixies back in the day as a level 3x archer hitting 3 digit damages, timing jump Double Shots. Except in boss form

I really think bosses should make use of dodgable attacks more. It would make fights a lot more interesting if you could jump out of the way to avoid a seducing laser or step away from marks on the ground where pillars fall and deal massive damage.
