Time Temple will be a good place in my opinion, even for mages. It's just that all you mages are too used to using your ultimates. Remember you have other skills to kill monsters with too, not just your ultimates. Go check some of the I/L vids from KMS, they can kill the monsters in Time Temple pretty fast with Chain Lightning and Ifrit.
Though if you want to stay with just the boring and fast training with your ultimates, then yeah Time Temple will be useless for you and you should stay with Leafre.
I'll be happy when this comes, I want something else than Skelegons.
Not sure if it'll be faster though, but it should be more fun again for a while.
