This had been tested on my BM and NL characters at Pap, Manon and HT.

it was fixed a long time before that. i haven't DC'ed from dispelling bosses while relying on MW since uhh... last july? they changed the way MW was casted. before, your weapon would be equipped the moment MW was casted, after, your weapon would be equipped after the MW animation was finished. maybe it wasn't completely fixed though?
