I once did an analysis on Chaos scrolls. IDK if the %s are right or if its accurate, because it's only a hypothesis. However, I noticed that the stats it added or took away totaled in scroll patterns.
Like for glove atk:
+1 stat (100%)
+2 stat (60%)
+3 stat (10%)
And for Weapons:
+1 stat (100%)
+2 stat +1 stat (60%)
+5 stat + 3stat +1 stat (10%)
