Suppose you spent 1 bil on a wand and then found that it is now only worth 400 mil and you can no longer use it and that you will level twice as slow.
Let's say that I've seen plenty of people quit (game or their character) already on my server due to these economical and leveling reasons. My idea isn't as absurd as you think.
And as for your own comment, just take a look at how many luk bishops are still around that are over level 160. Now compare that with Lukless ones. TYVM.
How do we know the Luk Bishops did indeed quit to become luckless? How do we know if the majority of the lukless ones now aren't new players or bandwagoners to the class due to its popularity? Also your statement was that the lukless Bishops will quit because they can't use the wands. This implies that they are at least level 130+ in order to use the wands in the first place. I can't see many people and certainly not 80%, quitting a level 130+ character of one of the easiest classes in Maple to level and boss with.
