Contrary to your understanding of the world, not every Mapler spawns on Maple Island for the first time with a deep seated plan to be a single stat character in direct defiance from everything the game itself repeatedly tells you to do with your AP.
Neither was their a divine proclaimation any time in the past three years that Thou Shalt Be Luckless If Thou Art Bishop. People do in fact play based on their own ideas of what's right and wrong, not neccessarily according to some stat-whores formula for The Perfect Character.
