I used to train on bigfoot during my early 16x levels when I got bored of crimson guardians. Of course, bigfoot has changed a bit since then, but the general strategy is about the same. You can't just hold down polearm fury or the attack will miss. If you get the timing down, you can keep bigfoot pinned in the corner as long as no one else comes and tries to kill it as well. Re-buffing can be a problem sometimes since bigfoot is much faster than he used to be.
Compared to crusher, polearm fury is actually much safer to kill bigfoot with because of the range. But of course the fact that fury is a weaker attack will lead to much slower kill times than a spear user. Since you can't spam crusher or fury on bigfoot, the fact that fury is a faster attack gives no advantage to the fury user.
