I dont' see why they would want to do that. They've already had a couple had hitting updates and most people are pretty happy with the game right now. KoC should be something they're more likely to save for a later date so that they can keep people playing when they finally get bored of all the amazing updates recently.
GMS > MSEA for most purposes right now, at least for high levels. We have minidungeons, common apples, cheap pots, family, a massive population, 2x...etc. No reason to be jealous of them anymore to be honest.
