I said MB didn't have any downsides. I never said to get Inferno over MB, and I never said that MB was a bad skill. The reason I mentioned being a Marksman is because what I say about PKB applies only to myself as a Marksman - Rangers need stun, they can't afford to use PKB because it would disrupt their stun. PKB however, can be used on frozen mobs without any issue. As I said, I use PKB UNLESS a monster spawns on me. If a monster's freeze-sliding at me, somehow doesn't get KBed and rushes me, I use PKB; I don't wait for a Mortal Blow to knock them back. It generally takes me 2 successful MBs before a monster is KBed enough to be Strafed, 3 if I lag. Why MB twice when I can do 4 times the damage with Strafe?
please dont come up with bananas about getting inferno over MB, dont ruin other players archers by saying this should be a viable option when MB is useful unlike inferno. hell, MM should get it over eagle if they want thrust.
Carlos, I'm not saying that Mortal Blow is a bad skill. I'm glad I have 20 points in it, but I'm also glad I have 20 points in PKB, which I use far more often. Mortal Blow is for my mistakes, Power Knockback takes care of everything else.
As for the Inferno issue: Inferno is no longer a good skill to have, I agree with you on that. Previously, it was a Ranger's most powerful distance mob skill, and some could argue its effectiveness on large mobs during early 4th job. Now, it's totally useless nomatter when you use it because Arrow Bomb is vastly better.
