So I was thinking of picking up the Disgaea series because I love tactics games and can never seem to finish a FFT game that I start. (Fail...)
But there's 3 different versions of the first game. I did some research but still can't decide.
The original has songs that the remakes do not have, and slightly different actors and scenes. But missing the ability to go from horrible eng dub to jap & sub, as well as multiplayer and extra features.
The DS remake has touch screen, but missing some scenes from PSP, as well as the jap & sub selection and graphics that aren't as good from what I can tell. That's... about it.
And the PSP version has everything the DS version has plus the missing stuff, minus touch screen. That's basically it.
The PSP version really is the most likely version, unless the DS's touch screen makes a big difference to where it's THAT much more fun. And granted, the missing songs from the original could be good enough that someone might recommend that one.
So, which should I go for?
(Also looking for a big tactics fan player, to help keep me from just leveling and cross-classing like insane, which is why I keep ending FFT early... Just PM me.)
