Unless you started out Axe and went Sword hybrid I don't see what Showa has to do with it.


My WK was using similar amounts of pots (2000+ ice cream pop per level) at 8x back in the day and I had Powerguard. It's just the way 8x warriors are.

DK saved a ton by going to Ginseng, I think it dropped to about 1200 a level but only because of HB (1 Ginseng is nearly 4000 hp on it) the same hp cost still applies, it's just cheaper to pay for.

I went from using an absurd amount of ice cream pops to about 1/3 as many Honsters on an 8x PADK when NLC came out. As I've leveled the pot efficiency has only increased (switched to Ginsengs for Zerking). %-based potions are highly efficient for high level warriors - the more HP you have, the more they help, with a honster healing 18,000 HP on a max HP character.
