The Consequences of Rare Maple Items

[color="#cc8899"]No, but I'm also not ruthless when it comes to capitalism. I despise things that only further the gap between rich and poor, especially in what is supposed to be a fun and carefree game. When people begin hoarding things they don't need it makes the game that much more difficult for those that do need them. The playerbase that the Maple Weaps are designed for are those that can't afford/find/make powerful gear (acc for warrior/brawler weapons, extra avoid and low stat cost for thieves, HP to help with bossing, etc). The players hoarding them are instead causing these items to fall into the same category of nice but out of reach.

I'm not entirely against merchanting, when it comes to rare and extremely powerful equips - these rightfully should take time and effort to get, and shouldn't be easily obtained. However, items that are supposed to be part of a celebration and helpful to everybody shouldn't be so rare that hoarding/merching is possible.[/COLOR]
