Fraps doesn't even fall into the classification of a "3rd party program that can get you banned" due to the fact that it doesn't interfere with Maple at all, and doesn't provide you or anyone else with any kind of unfair advantage (aka cheating). In the 4+ years that I've been playing Maple, I have not heard of anyone getting banned due to Fraps. Like doctorx, I've been using Fraps for boss runs; I started frapping my Zakum runs since Summer 2006, and I'm still around..
