According to the Nexon forums if your CPU spikes to 100% load you'll get that error. Would tend to happen more with a VM if it is running in the background since VMWare tries to minimize computer usage.

Interesting. I'll have to see if there's something I can do about it.

I did play normally on a low-level character for about 40 minutes before that happened. Later, I left my shop up while I went to take a shower; VM was left in the foreground and game was full-screen, but I returned to find the same HackShield message. MS and my door spot were gone.

So is this happening to other people as well as those using VMware?
