Everyone keeps saying that CEF and hacks are done. That is not true.
I did some further research on this, and it turns out that the owner of CEF, Dark Byte, put up the free forum as a temporary thing while he finds a new host. He is finding a new host for CEF in another country that does not have the DMCA laws.
Lloyd Korn attacked CEF by threatening the host, which make the hoster panic and stop hosting for Dark Byte.
I do not believe that hacks and this hacking website are done for good. I think that it is only a matter of time until Dark Byte finds a new host in another country that doesn't have the DMCA laws.
I am personally neutral when it comes to private server and hacks. Yes hackers can be annoying, but quite honestly, they have a big affect on the economy in-game. Without them, prices would rise like crazy because people would not be getting nearly as many items and such to sell. Private servers affect me in no way so I really do not care about them.
In conclusion, this letter is pretty much not going to stop hacking, or even CEF. Dark Byte apparently has a backup of everything from the website, so once he gets his new host, he will put everything back just the way it was.
