I assume it would be more buff orientated.

You have to combo buffs together to unlock spells, which either do more damage or buff you + your other buffs.

Or they could do it like Invoker in Dota, where you use spells in a certain arrangement to get better spells.

This is what I'd like. Spell combination for greater ones, and it would be interesting if they added a multi hit spell as well in the process (lolmeteo?).
