Like you said about Earth being just right; I believe that there may be no other life in the universe; and those infinite amount of other planets/solar-systems/galaxies were all failures.
This really explains the whole 'The perfectness of Earth is just to much of a coincidence for there not to be a God' Maybe it's because so many other planets were 'attempts' at this.
Also, discovery channel is pro.
