ZartMorder Wrote:Don't count on it. Showa monsters were probably modified because they depicted modern weapons while the pirate class uses old fashioned guns. Which is a child more likely to come across these days? (Hopefully neither. >_<)Well, they did also remove other weapons, weapons that Maplers themselves can actually use (such as the Brick or the sword). This means the defining factor is the enemies using these weapons against the players, not the weapons themselves.
Another change they made is that the enemies aren't actually human. The enemies are monsters in disguise. In jMS, they're literally murdering human gangsters, but in gMS, we're defeating monsters who are masquerading as humans.
So therefore, the problem is that they
#1: don't like the enemies using as menacing weapons as that, even ones Maplers can use themselves.
#2: don't want Maplers killing humans.
The gunner Pirate subclass doesn't suffer from either of these things. Obviously.
ps as Berserk said via proxy of Loose's post, it's not needed. In fact, Berserk's own post quoted a thorough explanation by Isaac that pointed out that the quests relating to the connection would be played first through Nautilus before reaching the higher level quests at Magatia.
