Miss Cali controversy

so that means that we are allowed to discriminate in a public setting, a beauty pageant, against people who have different beliefs? this is the topic of the thread, after all. i do not see miss cali "ruling" over anyone. she does not legislate against gay people, she just runs in beauty pageants.

What I meant was, would it still be a controversy that she didnt win, because of what she said, if she would have said "In my country, and in my family, I believe that a marriage should be between a WHITE man and a woman."
