Where do you get that? From the announcement at the start of this thread? I don't see it....
What I do see is Nexon saying that their players are their biggest resource, and that is true. It's a resource they haven't yet seen fit to tap, but if they do it properly they could have dozens, hundreds, or even thousands of volunteers ready to help them. Maybe that doesn't mean taking hours each day to chase down cheaters, but it could (and should) mean that some trusted players could have some abilities, as yet unknown, to aid the GMs in that task.
I've chased down a few people now and then, logged onto several different characters to report botters or FM spammers, and so on, but would I spend my game time doing that instead of playing? I doubt it, and I also doubt that that will be the main job of these "Deputies." Maybe I'm wrong; I'll be waiting for their announcement of exactly what's involved.
