Creationism vs Evolution

Creationism v Evolution is not a science/religion debate, it's regarding whether religion should be taught in public schools. While I agree that such a debate will usually set off a lot of flaming and circular logic, it actually DOES have relevance in public discourse because public schools are not supposed to teach religious content.

But this thread isn't so much about that...the OP did say the idea was brought up in school, but nobody has referenced any court trials, evidence, etc or whatever else for/against teaching Creationism/Evolution in schools. From what I've seen it's just your standard, "Which is right?" argument. :\
