I'm wondering this as well. Also, if it pops back out, would it count as a different quest (like the target quests were counted as different quests)?

While it pops out when you collect another 5 cards it seems to go back in even if you don't do the Quest again.

anyone know if this quest expires? I would assume so if it appears in the event section. I'm having bad luck with card drops. :/ (but maybe I'm just not trying hard enough)

I don't think it would, it appearing in the Event section doesn't mean it will go away.

That MV Quest that would pop out was added to the Event section after the patch.
