Each time you get a multiple card it has a different effect. ex. Adding HP and MP of monsters, showing what they drop, etc.
I think you always get the buff from the monster after you pick up the card though. :f6:
EDIT:
- Each time a card is registered (collected) in the monster book, you can earn 30 minutes of a Monster's Special Buff.
- When you have collected the max 5 cards for a particular monster, you will be given a special designated monster hunting priority for that particular monster for 1 hour from the moment the 5 cards are collected.
- The designated monster hunting effect expires after 1 hour. Even if 1 hour does not pass but you collect the max 5 cards for another monster, then the designated monster hunting effect will be reset to the new monster with the old one no longer in effect.
- If you log out of the game, the buff effect will be lost.
