What's completely ridiculous about that is that drinking, while legal, is absolutely prohibited on duty. Any soldier in the position to be shot at is more than likely on an alcohol ban to begin with, so this situation, if it WERE legal, would never happen. Alcohol is prohibited on a Navy Vessel that is underway as well.
