If you look way back in MS history, you'll find that the true bandwagon trends (none of this 4th job stuff, cause none of the bandwagoners get there) last between 6 months and a year.
The first DK wave is a great example, when 3rd job came out DKs weren't all that loved, but for some reason they SPIKED in popularity almost up to intro of KFT.
Similiarly, Dexless sins are currently quite a large bandwagon, and that's been going on for at least 3 or 4 months now.
But releasing a whole nother job! That's gonna take at least a year to clear the air.
I think its going to take a LONG time for pirates to fall into the normal slew of classes. Of active characters they are going to be shot up to at least 35%, but I doubt they'd fall below 30 for quite awhile.
