Creationism vs Evolution

Last time I checked, evolution has not yet been proven. At least, macroevolution, which is what you're probably talking about. I don't think anyone has a problem with microevolution.

This. I'm not a blind "God created the world in seven days and it's only 6 thousand years old" type of person but there isn't enough scientific evidence backing the random spontaneous generation of the world for me to drop my beliefs and say there is no God. Macroevolution still relies on a ton of unexplained mechanisms that aren't any better than any other theory on how we got here.

I try to see every major religion as having some truth to it. The lasting power of religion throughout human existence just makes it hard to completely doubt.
