Well yesterday my book was at 0 even after killing quite a few monsters throughout El Nath, and until like an hour ago it was still at 0 until I went to HHG to see if I could get any cards there and I managed a Pig card from the first pig I killed. xD Then right after I got a Blue Snail card and a Shroom card. 
So I decided to spend like 30 minutes hunting in HHG and now I've got 1 Pig card, 2 Shroom cards and 5 Blue Snail cards! xD They may be low lvl cards, but I'm proud of them. <3
