When you do this quest it takes away that bonus, so what Isaac is saying is that it's better to lose the exp boost from the Snails or any other lower levels monsters rather than the Skelegons.
a question, after you've collected 5 cards of a monter, can you keep getting more cards and recieving the bonus exp?
