How can the drama/ego/affinity of each server be best described as?
#57
For the most part I generally agree with what people have been saying about Khaini, however:
Quote:yeah, it's very clique-y. It's pretty much impossible for rising players to break into it.
It's really not that bad. While it's clique-y, the cliques don't feel very closed. If you have something to contribute (knowledge, help, friendship, buffs), you can get along with most people quite easily. I don't think I've ever been turned down/ignored for anything in my time here, and despite the fact that I'm a strless marksman people don't regularly call me retarded/wrong or tell me to go make a bowmaster, etc. Maybe I'm just lucky, or maybe there's a certain way to interact with people of any server (or Khaini at least) that makes transitions into the high level community easy enough, given that one is of a somewhat high level.

(for the record this is an exaggeration but seriously I can't think of many people who've made it to 4th job on khaini through their own hard work)
I made it to 4th on my own, and I know plenty of people who did as well. It's pretty remarkable how a lot of my friends aren't leechers, and I really wasn't trying for that at all. I mean honestly I think I can count many many more people who made it to 4th job and didn't leech than people who made it to 4th job and did.

I'm even known for having a bit of an ego, but I don't get too much crap about it, except this one time on sleepywood... Goggleemoticon
